Formally the executive pastry chef for The Fig Tree Restaurant, Samantha opened Wentworth & Fenn, a unique bakery that creates wedding cakes, special event cakes and custom pastries that are sold out of a 1961 Shasta Camper, named Selma.
Samantha was named ‘Best Pastry Chef’ in Charlotte, NC for 2017, she’s traveled to New York to cook at the legendary James Beard House, and she was nominated for ‘Best Pastry Chef of the East Coast Region’-James Beard Award in 2016.
Cassie, the other half of Wentworth & Fenn, is the brains behind the Shasta Camper remodel. Her vision has brought to life the storefront that will bring W&F pastries all over Charlotte. She currently works in one of the top custom car shops in the Charlotte/Concord area in addition to the bakery. In accordance to the camper, she will be head of marketing and branding for the company.
A tasting room/event space will be the newest venture at Camp North End. The Shasta will still be W&F storefront selling the seasonal, custom pastries around Charlotte.
